Description

Eva-Maria Schomakers is a PhD student and works as scientific assistant at the Human-Computer Interaction Center, short HCIc and the chair for Communication Science at RWTH Aachen University.
Her research is focused on the acceptance of Ambient Assisted Living technologies with special interest in the concept privacy. Her dissertation is funded by a RWTH Aachen postgraduate scholarship.
Eva-Maria studied Technical Communication with Mechanical Engineering at the RWTH Aachen University and finished her Master’s degree in 2015. During her studies, she worked as a student researcher at the chair of Medical Engineering at the Helmholtz Institute for Biomedical Engineering, RWTH Aachen.
