Description

Barbara Zaunbrecher is a research assistant at the Human-Computer Interaction Center and the Chair of Communication Science at RWTH Aachen University. She studied Linguistics, Communication Science and English at the RWTH Aachen. Her research focuses on the analysis of acceptance issues in the context of energy system transformation. In her doctor thesis she investigated the public perception of infrastructure in the context of the energy system transformation in several empirical studies. She is currently working on the project Milieu-Diffusion, which aims to contribute to a better understanding of the motivation of homeowners and the role of intermediaries in the energetic refurbishment of buildings.
