Description
Barbara Zaunbrecher is a research assistant at the Human-Computer Interaction Center and the Chair of Communication Science at RWTH Aachen University. She studied Linguistics and Communication Science and English at RWTH Aachen University. Her research expertise lies in the empirical analysis of acceptance, perception and requirements in different technical and non-technical contexts. In her doctoral thesis, she researched the public perception of infrastructure in the context of the energy transition in several empirical studies. She is currently working in the interdisciplinary project FLIP, where she is investigating the perception of insects, insect mortality and protective measures for insects by laypersons in order to derive target-oriented communication and information concepts for these topics.
