Description
Simone Wirtz-Brückner has been a member of staff at the Chair of Communication Studies since 2023. After completing her master's degree in communication science, sociology and geography at RWTH Aachen University, she worked in the Text Linguistics and Technical Communication teaching and research area from 2007 to 2023, where she obtained her doctorate in 2015.
She currently teaches and researches in various areas of human-technology interaction and communication - e.g. user-centred technology development and design, professional communication, technology communication, science communication - and is responsible for coordinating and advising students on the interdisciplinary degree programmes in Human-Technology Interaction and Communication and Technology Communication.
