Description
Vivian is a research associate in the research team at the Human Computer Interaction Center and the Chair of Communication Science at RWTH Aachen University. Since 2020, she is doing her PhD within the interdisciplinary research training group ACCESS! and focuses on human-machine interaction, acceptance modeling, and user diversity in the context of new mobility concepts. She is particularly interested in how (unsuccessful) interaction with technologies influences their acceptance and how interactive devices should be designed for use in transportation. Her current application contexts are mobility concepts for last mile logistics and urban air mobility.
Vivian holds a Bachelor (B.Sc.) and Master (M.Sc.) in Technology Communication with Mechanical Engineering from RWTH Aachen University. During her studies, she worked as a student assistant in human-robot collaboration at the Human-Computer Interaction Center since 2017.
