eHealth: USAB 2011 in Graz 

On the 25th-26th November 2011 the 7th Conference of the Austrian Computer Society Workgroup: Human Computer Interaction took place at the Medical University of Graz. The eHealth team was successfully represented by Martina Ziefle, Shirley Beul, Anne Kathrin Schaar, Firat Alagöz, Simon Himmel and Oliver Sack. 

Anne Kathrin Schaar presented her paper What Determines the Public Perception of Implantable Medical Technology. Insights in Cognitive and Affective Factors in her presentation 'Public Perception of Implantable Medical Technology - Insights into acceptance forming factors'.

Firat Alagöz received the Best Paper Award and held a presentation entitled 'Medical Technology Acceptance from Europe to Turkey - The Complexity of Culture'.

Simon Himmel held a presentation entitled 'Acceptance of Home-Integrated Information- and Communication Technologies' related to his paper When your living space knows what you do: Acceptance of medical home monitoring by different technologies.

Oliver Sack presented his poster Older Adults’ Perception of Costs and Benefits of Web-based and Mobile PHR Technologies: A Focus Group Approach

All in all the team won two prices for their excellent work: the Best Paper Award and the Best Presentation Award. Shirley Beul received the Best Presentation Award for her presentation 'Remote Medical Encounter. Patients’ medial preferences in telemedical scenarios'.
