Our regional final winners of the Siemens Stiftung student competition in math, science and technology ”Using resources intelligently – Working today to conserve for tomorrow.“

Each year the siemens foundation announces a student competition in the field of math, science and technology. Students attending classes 11 to 13 make an application with innovative future ideas which pass an expert opinion at three major technical universities (RWTH Aachen, TU München, TU Berlin). The competition at RWTH Aachen university is organized by Prof. Dr. M. Ziefle and Prof. Dr. E.-M. Jakobs.

Three winning teams were nominated in the regional final. The RWTH jury team consisting of Prof. Dr. A. Pfennig, Prof. Dr. A. Schnettler and Prof. Dr. E.-M. Jakobs had to survey innovative ideas for efficient energy use. The medals and prize money were handed over by prorector Prof. Dr. A. Krieg.
