Siemens Stiftung student competition in math, science and technology 2010 dealing with future Energy-Geniuses 

The Siemens Stiftung student competition in math, science and technology 2010 is entitled ”Using resources intelligently – Working today to conserve for tomorrow.“

This years student competition aims for new ideas of efficient energy use.

Each year, the Siemens Stiftung announces a student competition in the field of math, science and technology. Students attending classes 11 to 13 make an application with innovative future ideas which pass an expert opinion at three major technical universities (RWTH Aachen, TU München, TU Berlin). The students pass through a bipartide assessment procedure. In the regional final three winners at each university will be announced. All nine winners compete in the national final. Winning teams and their teachers receive price money. First price is a 30.000 € studying account.

The regional final at RWTH Aachen University will be on March 2nd, 2010, in the Super C. The 3 best teams out of 47 will be announced. 

The competition at RWTH Aachen university is organized by Prof. Dr. M. Ziefle and Prof. Dr. E.-M. Jakobs. The RWTH jury consists of Prof. Dr. A. Pfennig, Prof. Dr. A. Schnettler and Prof. Dr. E.-M. Jakobs
