This research project pursues an interdisciplinary approach to develop user-centered and age-appropriate designs for future technologies. 

Employing contextual and methodological perspectives from humanities and social sciences on the one hand and engineering technologial perspectives on the other, it will be examined what barriers elderly people encounter concerning usage and acceptance of different future technologies, as well as what wants and needs they have for adequate technologies.
